Isaiah 9:6 says “For unto us a child is born, and unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulders and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” It’s the Christmas season But it seems like we’ve gotten carried away by the festivities So for a few minutes can we take our focus Off the colors, lights, gifts The pies, reindeers, elfs, gingerbread men, And all that our fantasies has attached to Christmas. Unto us a son is given! This is the season where we were gifted And given as gifts. This is the season that marks our rebirth as Sons. So beyond the Mary did you know and the Little drummer boy Can we focus on the gift and what it made us- Sons Oh who knew that the son would walk the seas and feed thousands from nothing That He would speak life to the dead and freedom to the oppressed That the spit from his mouth would bring healing Well that’s because He is the Son!...
